Photography Walking Tour Preview

The photography walking tour is proving to be a popular addition to Welcome Week, and today we did a practice run to ensure that it will be an awesome experience for all!

Route: International and Postgraduate Student Centre – Botanic Train Station (5 mins) – Take train to Titanic Quarter Train Station – Titanic Quarter – Dry Dock – Pump House -Nomadic Tug ship The Dock Café – Cross Lagan Weir Bridge – Big Fish sculpture Custom House Square.

Cost: The only cost on this trip is the train ticket from Botanic to the Titanic Quarter (less than £3 return)

Rest Stop: We will be taking a break at The Dock Café, Ireland’s first honesty café – there is no charge on the tea, coffee and buns in this amazing space, but you leave a donation for the awesome volunteer staff. Details here!

Highlight 1: The last remaining White Star Line ship in the world has been spruced up and put on display, and we will pass the SS Nomadic on our walk!


Highlight 2: Samson and Goliath, the two yellow cranes which define Belfast, are visible everywhere on this walk, and make for amazing photographs.
