Full Moon Paddle Power is a popular beginners’ Kayaking course with the stunning back drop of a full moon glowing over Strangford Lough. The session will teach you the basics and build your confidence in the boat, whilst you explore Strangford Lough by the beautiful light of the moon. Or, visit Belfast Zoo for a special guided tour of the old zoo site celebrating the zoo’s 79 year hsitory. The tour focuses on the Bellevue area, where the original Zoo gardens were built in 1934. Visitors can also find out how the zoo adapted to the changing face of Belfast, particularly during World War II when the Cave Hill area came under heavy attack.

Walk off your hangover on Saturday with the Challenge Castle Ward 15km walk around this stunning walled demesne, taking in outstanding beauty and scenery, woodlands and ancient pastures.
